Please say a prayer for my Granni (my moms mom). she has been having trouble with her sight for months now and yesterday morning she woke up completely blind. She's very scared and very alone. She lives in Vancouver and doesn't have any close friends. Plus she is very stubborn and independent. She never told my mom and aunt how bad things were getting for her physically (she apparently has had a few bad falls down stairs recently as well). So for the first time in her life she is letting her daughters take over a bit for her. My mom and her husband are frantically trying to get her to Quesnel to live with them. They've booked her an appointment with an optomotrist but were still trying to figure out how to get her there. Her apartment building just switched the intercom system and they gave her a card to read to learn how to use it! So they don't even know if she can buzz a taxi driver in to help her to the car. My mom said she cried on the phone which is something she has never done before. I know my mom and aunt are really worried and trying to get everything sorted out fast. So please keep them all in your prayers. Thanks a bunch!

Hi ! Update on Granny! She made it to a optometrist, she has cataracts and they will operate, probably not before fall. I am flying up there Sunday and getting her to a specialist appt then flying her here to Quesnel! Yay! Praying that the operation will restore her site! She is talking about living with Aunty Shirley after the operation, until she can get her own place in Edmonton. More info when I phone you!
