things we have to do to get ready to move to alberta and once were there:
-buy a second car (like today or tomorrow this has to happen) and insure it in alberta so lawrence can get to work (lawrence did this today, yay!!)
-sell house (which means keep house really clean all the time)
-start packing house up
-switch healthcare over to alberta system
-switch drivers liscences over
-find and change car insurance to alberta
-sell couches, bunk bed, and bedroom set
-send lawrence his work clothes (done)
-not go crazy

Hey Starla, What kind of price are you thinking for the bunkbeds and would they be sufficient for my boys for a while?
Oh yeah, and you should put a pic of the bedroom set on the blog.
Hey Star!
If at all possible look into buying the second vehicle in Alberta. Sam ran into problems when she bought a new car here and had to have it provincially inspected before it could be insured over there - even though is was only a month old.
She says it also costs a fortune for their inspection, or did a few years ago when she did it. So anyway, just something to look into.
Anyway - cheering for you guys from Q-Town.
Oh man, you have a lot on the go! Thankfully you have a gramma near by - take advantage of her!!
I echo Jeff's comment - buying a car in Alberta would be way easier on you!
Hi Star! Good luck with the move. Sounds like you will be busy. I remember how busy we were getting ready to move to Alberta. Its a lot of work, but will be worth it. Good luck with everything!
